WHY
MANY TEARS?
After
fostering and adopting a dog from Many Tears Animal Rescue I felt
inspired to raise the profile of the cruelty of puppy farming.
Many puppy farms in Wales produce endless litters of puppies
in cruel and barbaric conditions.
Dogs
of all breeds are used as ‘breeding machines’ and denied contact
with people or the outside world. They are kept in cold wooden sheds
inside small crates or pens. Their
puppies, which often suffer health problems due to poor methods of
breeding, are taken away from their mothers far too early leaving
both pups and mother stressed and confused.
We
adopted an ex-breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who had no name
or experience of human contact. She was filthy, depressed and
terrified. We named her
Peaches and she has since discovered what being a dog is all about.
She had cuddles, walks, toys and two other cavaliers to play with.
If
you are reading this and care about dogs or wish to adopt a dog
please consider visiting the website of Many Tears (www.manytears.co.uk).
There are many different dogs and puppies available to adopt, all of
which are neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

Peaches - Happy and Healthy
Ex-breeding
dogs usually require a home which already has an existing dog so
that they can learn from a dog that has lived a ‘normal’ life.
Ex-breeding dogs have never lived in a house or been close to
people. They are often nervous and require the guidance of another
dog to assist them in every-day tasks (including house-training).
Don’t be put off though, as they make the most rewarding
pets you can ever imagine. Peaches has given us unbelievable amounts
of joy and happiness. She loves her new life and is part of a happy
family – at last.
Many
Tears do a wonderful job of rescuing dogs from puppy farms or
‘death row’. Please support them by making a donation via their
website or contact Ellie Phillips PR for more information on local
fundraising events.
